Summer Conference 2017 – Save the Date: June 9th

The annual Summer Conference is the last public conference of the academic year and convenes on the Maple Woods Community college campus on June 9, 2017. 

Title and Description: Pairing/Partnering in an Anxious World

This conference will focus on Bowen theory’s unique view of relationships, one that gets beyond blame to see reciprocity and one that gets beyond the two-person system to see triangles and multigenerational process. This conference will present relevant theoretical ideas about partnerships and the Bowen theory approach to therapy and illustrate their clinical application.

Guest Speaker

Kathleen Kerr, MSN, CNS, is a nurse clinical-specialist and has had a private practice since 1975. She was on the faculty of the Bowen Center for the Study of the Family from 1978-2012. She is a founding Board Member of the Bowen Theory Academy where she is Treasurer, provides technical support, and coordinates both the Family History Database Project and the Research Seminar.
